ExpiryNest Privacy Policy

ExpiryNest is a free, advertising-supported pantry and food-expiry organiser published by Softwarehouse.au.

Local records

Food names, dates, quantities, locations, notes, history and reminder preferences are stored locally on your device. No account or cloud sync is required. Exports leave the app only when you choose the operating-system share action.

Notifications

Notification permission is used only for local expiry reminders. The app does not use remote push notifications or request camera, contacts, microphone, precise location, health or payment permissions.

Advertising

ExpiryNest uses Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform. Where required, consent is gathered before the SDK is initialised or an ad request is created. Delayed measurement is enabled, publisher first-party identifiers are disabled before ad requests, and requests are non-personalised in addition to applicable consent signals. Google may process approximate network-derived location, device identifiers, advertising data, interactions and diagnostics for ads, measurement, fraud prevention and analytics. The app does not request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission or access IDFA.

Your choices

Advertising privacy choices are available from Settings where required. You can export or clear local records at any time.
