Your price-book data

Grocery observations, favourites, reminder preference and app settings are stored on your device. ShelfPenny has no account system and does not send your grocery records to an app backend.

Exports

When you choose to export data, the file leaves ShelfPenny only through the destination you select. That destination processes it under its own privacy terms.

Advertising and consent

ShelfPenny uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region, consent choice and Google’s service operation, Google may process device or other identifiers, app interactions and usage, diagnostics, coarse location and advertising data for advertising, consent, measurement and fraud prevention. ShelfPenny asks for consent where required before initialising Mobile Ads and makes no ad request unless the consent state permits it. Ad requests are configured as non-personalised.

Declining ads does not disable comparison, history, favourites, export, restore or reminders. The optional rewarded ad changes only a cosmetic card theme.

Your choices

You can remove local ShelfPenny data by uninstalling the app. Consent and advertising controls are provided where required. Google’s processing is described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

iOS tracking and advertising choices

On iOS, ShelfPenny requests App Tracking Transparency permission before the consent flow and before initialising advertising or requesting ads. Device identifiers may be used for advertising tracking only when the system permission is granted and Google's consent state permits requests. Denied, restricted, unresolved or failed permission checks keep advertising disabled while every core feature stays available. Settings includes Advertising privacy choices, which opens Google's privacy-options form when required, and a link to this policy. You can also manage tracking permission in device Settings.
