Local tea records
Tea names, shelf details, brew parameters, infusion sequences, ratings, tasting notes, preferences and reminders are stored on your device. SteepTrace does not provide an account or developer-operated cloud database.
Exports and deletion
CSV, text and JSON exports leave the app only after you select a destination. Delete local records by clearing app storage or uninstalling. Exported files remain at their chosen destination until you delete them there.
Notifications
If enabled, one tea reminder is scheduled locally. SteepTrace does not register a remote push token.
Advertising
SteepTrace uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. Google may process approximate location derived from IP, device identifiers, ad and product interactions, crash and performance data for advertising, analytics, app functionality, security and fraud prevention. Consent is obtained before an ad request; requests are non-personalised, publisher first-party ID is disabled, and iOS does not request ATT permission or use IDFA. Advertising fails closed if privacy or dedicated configuration is unavailable.
Permissions
Notification permission is requested only when you enable a reminder. The app does not request camera, contacts, microphone, health, precise location or broad media access.
Children
SteepTrace is a general-audience tea record utility and is not directed to children.
