What BinWhistle stores

Property labels, bin names/icons/colours, recurrence rules, exceptions, reminder preferences, collection check-offs, history and settings are stored on your device. You do not need to enter an address, use location or create an account.

Notifications, exports and backups

Reminders are local notifications scheduled by your operating system. Export or backup data leaves the app only when you deliberately use the system share or document picker. You control any copy after it leaves BinWhistle.

Advertising

BinWhistle is free and supported by Google Mobile Ads. Google's consent flow is shown before any ad request where required. The advertising SDK may process advertising data, approximate location inferred from network information, app interactions, device or advertising identifiers, crash information, performance and diagnostics for ads, measurement, fraud prevention and app functionality. Availability and use depend on consent, region and device settings.

BinWhistle does not send your schedule content, property labels or collection history to an app server for advertising. Missing or invalid production advertising configuration disables ad requests.

Accounts and children

BinWhistle has no user accounts and is not directed to children. It should not be used to enter sensitive information.

Deletion and retention

Delete local records with the controls available in the app. Uninstalling removes app-local records subject to operating-system backup behavior. Android application backup is disabled. Google controls retention and deletion for data processed by its advertising services.
