Reminder troubleshooting

• Confirm notification permission is enabled for BinWhistle in device settings.
• Open the schedule and check the next three dates before relying on a reminder.
• Check whether a one-off skip or move was applied.
• After changing timezone or daylight-saving settings, reopen the app and inspect the next dates.

Backups

Keep exported JSON in a location you control. Validate a backup before restoring it and review the restore summary before accepting changes.

Collection accuracy

BinWhistle does not obtain official council schedules. Confirm holiday changes and other important dates with your local collection provider.

Advertising privacy choices

Where available, use the app's advertising privacy control to reopen Google's consent options. Device-level tracking controls remain available in system settings.
