Effective 20 August 2026
Privacy policy
FilterFlow is published by Softwarehouse.au. This policy explains how the mobile app handles information.
Records you choose to add
Filter names, types, locations, part numbers, sizes or models, dates, intervals, reminder settings, spare quantities, notes, replacement history and preferences are designed to remain on your device. FilterFlow does not require an account and does not sync these records to a developer cloud database.
Export, backup and restore
Filters and history can be exported as CSV, the log can be shared as text, and the complete record can be backed up as JSON. A file leaves FilterFlow only when you choose a destination through your device's share controls. To restore, you explicitly paste a complete FilterFlow backup, validate it and confirm replacement of local data.
Reminders
If you grant notification permission, FilterFlow schedules reminders locally from the dates you saved. It is not designed to register a remote push token or send filter record contents to a notification server.
Advertising and consent
When dedicated advertising is enabled, FilterFlow uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. Where required, advertising choices are gathered before the SDK may request ads. If configuration or consent is incomplete, advertising fails closed.
Google may process IP address (which can estimate approximate location), device or advertising identifiers, ads viewed, app/ad interactions, crash information and performance information for advertising, analytics, measurement, security and fraud prevention. FilterFlow does not request precise location.
App updates
If signed Expo Updates are enabled, an installed version may check Expo Application Services. A request can include the operating system, developer project ID and a random installation token used to determine whether an installation requested an update.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them, clear app storage or uninstall FilterFlow. Files remain where you exported them until you delete them there. Google, Expo and any destination you choose may retain data under their own policies.
Security
Keeping records local reduces routine sharing, but no device, storage method or network transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect exported backups as you would any private file.
Children
FilterFlow is a general household utility and is not directed to children under 13. It has no public community or social posting.
Changes
If data handling changes, this policy will be updated with a new effective date before the related release where practical.
Contact
Privacy questions can be sent to tools@softwarehouse.au. Do not email a real JSON backup; provide a redacted example only if support asks and you choose to do so.
