MeterDocket support
Need help with a meter, reading, correction, reminder, trend, estimate, export or restore? Email tools@softwarehouse.au. Include your platform and app version, but do not email a real bill, meter number, address or unredacted backup.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. MeterDocket's core records are stored on your device.
Does it connect to my utility or smart meter?
No. You enter readings manually. MeterDocket does not perform OCR or provider sync.
Are cost figures my bill?
No. They are estimates based on readings, multipliers and rates you enter. Check your provider statement when accuracy matters.
Can I correct a reading?
Yes. Edit the local entry and review its correction history.
Can I attach a photo?
Yes. Choose an image through the system document picker. MeterDocket stores it in app-private storage and does not automatically photograph or scan a meter.
How do I back up records?
Use JSON for structured backup/restore, CSV for spreadsheet work and readable text for a simple summary. Restore validates a MeterDocket backup and asks for confirmation.
Why did I see a consent choice?
MeterDocket is advertising-supported and uses Google's consent tools where required. Every functional feature remains free.
How do I delete data?
Delete individual records, use the in-app erase action, clear the app's device data or uninstall. Delete exported copies separately from their destinations.
