Drumhead care, kept clear

Support

Help with drum profiles, playing sessions, care history, personal thresholds, local reminders and portable backups.

Quick start

  1. Create a profile for a drum and add any prior playing hours.
  2. Start and stop the playing timer, or add a session manually.
  3. Record a tuning snapshot, cleaning, inspection, rotation, damage note or head change.
  4. Review the drum’s hours and history, then add personal care thresholds if useful.

Hours and care targets

HeadLedger totals prior hours and saved playing sessions for each profile. Cleaning, inspection and head-change targets are values you choose. They do not measure wear, diagnose condition or replace physical inspection and manufacturer guidance.

Optional local reminder

Choose a reminder hour in Settings. A local notification is scheduled only when an item is due or due soon. The app asks for notification permission only when scheduling is needed, and declining permission leaves every other feature available.

Export and restore

Use Settings to export CSV or a JSON backup. Files leave the app only through the destination you select. Restore accepts a validated HeadLedger backup and replaces local records only after confirmation.

Keep a recent backup before changing devices or clearing app storage.

Ads and consent

Consent is handled where required before Google Mobile Ads starts. If ads cannot be requested or loaded, every core feature remains available. The optional rewarded ad changes only a temporary cosmetic style.

Troubleshooting

What the app does not do

HeadLedger does not use the microphone, listen to a drum, tune it automatically or assess drumhead condition. Inspect equipment directly and follow the manufacturer’s care, installation and replacement guidance.
